This is 10″ WW I Historic Gurkha Bushcraft Khukuri | Zombie Apocalypse Chopper khukuri. This Khukuri is very famous among Military Knife collectors because of the fact that the very design of this Khukuri was carried/used by the Gurkha in hand-to-hand battle in the Jungle of Burma during the first World War. This Khukuri knife played a very significant role in creating the history of the Gurkhas. This Khukuri was also best to use for any kind of heavy work. It can be used to chop wood, firewood, bone, and cleaning bushes.
The blade is made of Highly Graded Carbon Steel and is semi-polished. It is broad and more curved than the standard Khukuris which makes it very comfortable & easy to use. The handle is a flat full tang. The handle and blade are one single piece and visible all around the handle (See pictures). Two Rosewood pieces are attached strongly to the metal part of the handle with three metal rivets with an adjusted lanyard hole on the handle. Special Brown Scabbard is made of pinewood covered in genuine water buffalo leather. The blade measures 10-inch long while the handle is 5.5-inch therefore; the overall length of this khukuri is 15.5 inches. The widest part of the blade is 5.3cm and the spine is 8mm at the thickest part. The weight of the kukri blade is 700 grams. The Blade, Handle, Scabbards and even small knives called “karda” and “chakmak” are provided with high quality finish.
